Nobina awarded renewed contract for bus services between Boden and Luleå
Länstrafiken Norrbotten has awarded Nobina a renewed contract to operate the core bus services between Boden and Luleå. The contract involves 12 new buses and will start at the beginning of 2026, extending for 10 years.
Since 2022, the traffic has been operated by Nobina under various short-term contracts. The traffic consists of three routes: 28, 29, and 30, which primarily focus on work and study commuting. Key destinations include Sunderby Hospital and Luleå University of Technology.
The 12 new modern buses will provide increased comfort for passengers and will feature Wi-Fi and USB charging ports. They will also run on 100 percent renewable fuel.

With the new contract, we will be able to offer passengers modern and sustainable buses. The decision can be appealed until December 9, 2024.
