Responsible employer and societal stakeholder
We regard our responsibility as much greater than creating employment for nearly 12,000 people. Nobina wants to lead the way and assume social responsibility to promote diversity, offer decent jobs and a healthy work environment. For this reason, we are keen to be an attractive employer, where people thrive and develop, and where diversity is one of our greatest strengths.

Our strategic focus areas
Proactive partner
We will be a proactive partner for our clients by taking initiatives that improve collaborations and our solutions for them. This includes developing contracts and conditions throughout the contract cycle.
People in focus
Everything we do is based on people and their needs. This allows us to provide the safest and most welcoming passenger and employee experience in the industry. Nobina attracts and develops the right employees so that we can continue to fulfill promises and requirements in relation to passengers and clients, owners and society.

Link to Sustainable Development Goals
Link to Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth
The goal is to promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. Nobina contributes to interim target 8.4 to improve resource efficiency in consumption and production, and interim target 8.8 to protect labour rights and promote safe and secure work environments for all workers.
Examples of what we do
- We cooperate with job centres to expand the recruitment base, for example, through our launch of the new training programme, Yrkesintroduktionsanställning (Vocational introductory employment).
- We hold our own vocational training courses via The Nobina Academy and this included training 135 new drivers in 2020, who found work immediately.
- We develop our employees’ knowledge of Swedish through the launch of the Lingio digital language course for people who do not speak Swedish as their first language.
- We were awarded Unionen’s HBTQ prize in 2019, as Sweden’s most HBTQ-friendly workplace.
